i'm also the Host & Producer of "Teen Talk Tuesday" an online talk show for Teenage Girls that focuses on helping Girls make good choices.
My passion to empower girls led me to found, "GIRL POWER STUDIO" (GPS). My home based Web TV studio where I host & produce media that empowers Teen & Tween Girls.
In the past
I was a professional Actor, Producer & Sketch Comedienne working in NYC & Los Angeles.
Yes, that is me, working alongside Eva Longoria of "Desperate Housewives".
I had such a great time with this comedy show, produced by latina powerhouse, Kiki Melendez.
Now I use my experience in the entertainment field to
empower, encourage & educate teen girls
It is not easy being a teen girl today.
Bad choices = more drama, heartbreak & sets off a dangerous downward spiral of poor self esteem, zero confidence, risky behavior & under achieving.
When girls are educated & empowered
with the tools to handle all of the drama & issues they face daily ... they will make better choices.
They will feel better about themselves.
And they will be in a positive personal space that allows them the courage to DREAM BIG.
I was once a little girl with big dreams
I was incredibly lucky to have a family & teachers who believed in me & encouraged me to DREAM BIG & make those dreams happen.
My father was my biggest fan.
he used to tell me:
"there is no one else like you in this world" ,
"don't let anyone ever tell you that you can't do it"
when I used to fall & I was afraid to try again he would say " come on, get up & show everyone that you can do this".
Most importantly he told me "don't ever let a man treat you less than I treat you".
These words, spoken by a father to his little girl, are the words that made me who I am today.
They are the words I live by.
I hope to pass these words on to every teen girl that crosses my path.
*** Because every girl deserves to know that she is meant for something great.
Every girl deserves to feel that security of knowing that her parents are her #1 fans.
When a girl believes that she can do anything, she will do what it takes to make those dreams happen.
Trust me on that.
Our Girls Are the Greatest Resource We Have.
Together we can Empower & Protect Them, So They Can Grow Up To Become Who They Were Meant To Be!!!
